Iliopectineal arch
Arcus iliopectineus · Bedrokyčelní oblouk
Fascia & connective tissue
Looks like
A band of fascia running from the inguinal ligament down to the pelvic brim, just below the groin crease.
What it does
Divides the space under the inguinal ligament into a muscle-nerve part and a vessel part.
Keeping it well
A landmark in groin surgery and nerve blocks: the femoral nerve lies on one side, the femoral vessels on the other.
