Looks like
The triangular area at the top of the front of the thigh, bounded by the groin ligament above, the sartorius outside and the adductor longus inside.
What it does
Holds, from outside in, the femoral nerve, artery and vein (NAVY: nerve, artery, vein, Y-fronts) and the deep groin lymph nodes.
Keeping it well
The femoral pulse is felt here, heart catheters and central lines are put in here, and a femoral hernia bulges here — more often in women, and more likely to strangle than an inguinal one.
