The nodes just under the split of the windpipe into the two main bronchi (subcarinal nodes).

What it does

Filter lymph from both lungs, the bronchi and the heart.

Keeping it well

Cancer here changes lung cancer stage and treatment; they are sampled by EBUS. Very large ones can press on the oesophagus.
