Nodes on the upper surface of the diaphragm, around the heart's base and where the vena cava passes.

What it does

Filter lymph from the diaphragm, the front of the liver and lower chest wall.

Keeping it well

Enlargement on scans can point to lymphoma or spread of liver, ovarian or bowel cancer.
