What it is
Thermoregulation fails; above about 40 °C core temperature, cells and organs start to fail.
Symptoms & signs
- Heavy sweating then no sweating
- dizziness
- nausea
- confusion
- hot skin, dry or still sweating
- collapse
- seizures
