A surface vein running up the thumb side of the forearm and arm, then in the groove between the deltoid and pectoralis.
What it does
Drains the skin of the thumb side of the arm into the axillary vein.
Keeping it well
Used for drips, dialysis fistulas at the wrist and for placing pacemaker leads.
