Inferior phrenic vein

Looks like

Veins running with the inferior phrenic arteries under the diaphragm.

What it does

Drain the underside of the diaphragm; the right usually into the inferior vena cava, the left often into the left kidney or adrenal vein.

Keeping it well

Rarely clinically important; it matters when mapping veins before kidney or adrenal surgery.
