Anatom3DEthmoid air cells
Cellulae ethmoidales · Čichové sklípky
Respiratory system
Looks like
A honeycomb of small air cells between the eyes, either side of the nose's roof.
What it does
Warms air and lightens the bone between eye and brain.
Keeping it well
Nothing routine; infection here can spread into the eye socket, which swells and needs hospital care.
