Anatom3DNasal cavity
Cavitas nasi · Dutina nosní
Respiratory system
Looks like
Two tall passages behind the nose, divided by a wall and shelved by three scrolls of bone.
What it does
Warms, wets and filters air and holds the smell sensors in its roof.
Keeping it well
Saline rinses, humid air, treat allergy; a blocked nose on one side with bleeding needs looking at.
