The larger branch of the tibial nerve running forward along the inner sole.
What it does
Moves the big toe and a few sole muscles and brings feeling from the inner sole and first three and a half toes.
Keeping it well
Compressed in tarsal tunnel syndrome or by runners' arch supports ('jogger's foot'), causing burning in the sole.
