Superficial branch of ulnar nerve
Ramus superficialis nervi ulnaris · Povrchová větev loketního nervu
Nervous system
Looks like
The sensory branch of the ulnar nerve in the palm, beside the hook of the hamate.
What it does
Brings feeling from the little finger and half the ring finger, and moves palmaris brevis.
Keeping it well
Compression at the wrist numbs the little finger; a cut on the palm edge can sever it.
