Anatom3DFlexor digitorum superficialis
Musculus flexor digitorum superficialis · Povrchový ohybač prstů
Muscles
Looks like
A broad forearm muscle from the inner elbow and forearm bones, with four tendons to the middle bones of the fingers.
What it does
Bends the middle finger joints and helps bend the wrist.
Keeping it well
Powered by the median nerve. A cut on the palm or finger that stops a finger bending needs a hand surgeon urgently.
