Anatom3DLeft subclavius
Musculus subclavius sinister · Levý podklíčkový sval
Muscles
Looks like
A small round muscle under the collarbone, running from the first rib to the underside of the collarbone.
What it does
Pulls the collarbone down and in, steadying it and the joint with the breastbone.
Keeping it well
Helps cushion the vessels under it when the collarbone breaks; arm swelling or colour change after an injury needs a doctor.
