A large surface vein running up the little-finger side of the forearm and inner arm, diving deep halfway up the arm.
What it does
Drains the skin of the hand and forearm into the brachial and axillary veins.
Keeping it well
The favoured vein for long lines (PICC) and dialysis fistulas; a red, hard, tender cord along it is a surface clot.
