Anatom3DDistal phalanx of left big toe
Phalanx distalis hallucis sinistri · Koncový článek levého palce nohy
Skeleton
Looks like
The tip bone of the big toe, under the nail.
What it does
Supports the toe pad and nail; the long toe flexor inserts on it.
Keeping it well
Stubbing or dropping objects breaks it; an ingrown nail on its edge is common — cut nails straight across.
