Gemellus superior

Looks like

A small muscle from the ischial spine running along the upper edge of the obturator internus tendon to the thigh bone.

What it does

Turns the thigh outward and steadies the hip joint.

Keeping it well

Rarely a problem alone; hip rotation stretches keep this group supple.
