Internal pudendal vein

Looks like

Veins running with the internal pudendal artery along the side wall of the pelvis and around to the perineum.

What it does

Drain the perineum, anal canal and external genitals into the internal iliac vein.

Keeping it well

Can feed vulval or perineal varicose veins, especially in pregnancy; these usually settle after birth.
