Obturator vein

Veins
Looks like
A vein running from the inner thigh through the obturator canal along the pelvic side wall.
What it does
Drains the adductor muscles and hip into the internal iliac vein.
Keeping it well
Often links to the external iliac vein across the pubic bone; this 'corona mortis' can bleed badly in hernia or pelvic fracture surgery.
