Anterior interosseous nerve of forearm
Nervus interosseus antebrachii anterior · Přední mezikostní nerv předloktí
Nervous system
Looks like
A motor branch of the median nerve running deep along the front of the forearm membrane.
What it does
Moves the deep flexors of the thumb and index finger and pronator quadratus.
Keeping it well
Damage stops the thumb and index tip from bending, so you cannot make an 'OK' sign; there is no numbness.
