Jugulodigastric node

Looks like

A large node just below and behind the angle of the jaw, where the digastric muscle crosses the jugular vein.

What it does

The main node filtering lymph from the tonsil and the back of the tongue.

Keeping it well

Tender and swollen in tonsillitis. If it stays enlarged and hard after the throat has healed, see a doctor.
