A small node on the outer surface of the lower jaw, next to the facial artery and vein.

What it does

Filters lymph from the cheek, lips and chin skin.

Keeping it well

Can swell with dental abscesses or skin infections of the lower face; a lasting hard lump on the jaw needs checking.
