Veins
Looks like
A small channel crossing behind the pituitary gland, joining the two cavernous sinuses.
What it does
Together with the front channel it rings the pituitary with venous blood.
Keeping it well
Of note mainly to pituitary surgeons, who control its bleeding during operations.
