Right deep brachial artery
Arteria profunda brachii dextra · Pravá hluboká pažní tepna
Heart & arteries
Looks like
The largest branch of the brachial artery, spiralling round the back of the upper-arm bone with the radial nerve.
What it does
Supplies the triceps and the humerus, and ends in branches that join the network around the elbow.
Keeping it well
A break of the humerus shaft can injure it together with the radial nerve; wrist drop after such a fracture needs checking.
