Root of nose
Radix nasi · Kořen nosu
Skeleton
Looks like
The top of the nose, where it meets the forehead between the eyes; the bony dip here is the nasion.
What it does
Joins the nose to the forehead; the nasion is a standard landmark for measuring the face and skull.
Keeping it well
Mainly a landmark. A blow here can break the nasal and ethmoid bones together (naso-orbito-ethmoid fracture), which needs a CT.
