A vein just under the skin along the top of the penis, often visible.
What it does
Drains the skin of the penis into the external pudendal veins and on to the great saphenous vein.
Keeping it well
It can clot into a firm tender cord (penile Mondor's disease), usually after vigorous sex; it is benign and settles, but get it checked.
