The smallest face bone, a fingernail-thin plate on the inner wall of each eye socket.
What it does
Forms the groove for the tear sac and the channel that drains tears into the nose.
Keeping it well
Nothing to do for it; watering eye with a tender swelling at the inner corner means an infected tear sac and needs prompt treatment.
