Lateral epicondyle
Epicondylus lateralis humeri · Zevní epikondyl
Skeleton
Looks like
The bony bump on the outside of the elbow, at the lower end of the upper arm bone.
What it does
Anchors the forearm muscles that straighten the wrist and fingers and turn the palm up.
Keeping it well
Its tendons wear with gripping and repeated wrist work (tennis elbow); load-graded exercise helps most, and most cases settle within a year.
