Medial epicondyle
Epicondylus medialis humeri · Vnitřní epikondyl
Skeleton
Looks like
The bony bump on the inside of the elbow, at the lower end of the upper arm bone; the 'funny bone' nerve lies in a groove behind it.
What it does
Anchors the forearm muscles that bend the wrist and fingers and turn the palm down.
Keeping it well
Overuse makes it sore (golfer's elbow). Tingling in the little and ring fingers when leaning on the elbow is the ulnar nerve behind it being pressed.
