Skeleton
Looks like
A thin, flat, ploughshare-shaped bone standing upright in the back of the nasal cavity.
What it does
Forms the lower back part of the nasal septum that divides the nose in two.
Keeping it well
Only damaged by trauma or surgery; a bent septum causing one-sided blockage can be straightened by operation.
