Looks like

Lymph nodes along the lower edge of the pectoralis minor, on the front wall of the armpit (pectoral group).

What it does

Filter lymph from most of the breast and the front chest wall before it goes deeper into the armpit.

Keeping it well

Often the first nodes breast cancer reaches; sentinel node biopsy samples them. A new hard armpit lump lasting weeks needs a check.
