Vagina plantaris tendinis musculi fibularis longi · Chodidlová pochva šlachy dlouhého lýtkového svalu
Joints & cartilage
Looks like
A sleeve around the fibularis longus tendon where it crosses the sole from the cuboid groove to the base of the first metatarsal.
What it does
Lets the tendon glide across the sole.
Keeping it well
Pain under the cuboid in runners may come from this tendon and a small bone (os peroneum) in it.
