Skeleton
Looks like
A half-moon-shaped wrist bone in the middle of the near row, between scaphoid and triquetral.
What it does
Sits under the radius and is central to wrist movement and load transfer.
Keeping it well
It can dislocate after a fall on the hand — often missed — and can lose its blood supply and collapse (Kienböck disease).
