Left levator scapulae

Looks like

A strap muscle at the side and back of the neck, from the top four neck vertebrae to the upper inner corner of the shoulder blade.

What it does

Lifts the shoulder blade and tilts the neck to the same side.

Keeping it well

A common spot for 'stiff neck' after sleep or desk work; gentle stretching helps.
