Left pontine artery

Looks like

A row of small arteries leaving the basilar artery at right angles and entering the pons, the bulge of the brainstem.

What it does

Supply the pons, which carries movement and sensation tracts and controls eye movement and face.

Keeping it well

High blood pressure damages them; blockage causes small brainstem strokes with weakness, clumsiness or slurred speech.
