Right lateral occipital artery

One of the two end branches of the posterior cerebral artery, running on the underside of the temporal lobe.

What it does

Supplies the underside of the temporal lobe through its anterior, middle and posterior temporal branches.

Part of posterior cerebral strokes; damage may affect memory and recognition of faces or colours.
