A small branch of the nasociliary nerve leaving the eye socket at its inner corner, below the trochlea.
What it does
Brings feeling from the inner corner of the eye, the side of the nose bridge and the tear sac.
Keeping it well
Blocked with local anaesthetic for tear-duct and eyelid surgery.
