Anatom3DTeres minor
Musculus teres minor · Malý sval oblý
Muscles
Looks like
A narrow strap of muscle along the outer edge of the shoulder blade, below the infraspinatus.
What it does
Helps turn the arm outwards and steadies the shoulder joint.
Keeping it well
Rarely injured alone; it tends to fail with the rest of the cuff and is kept strong with the same rotation exercises.
