An arched band under the pubic symphysis, joining the lower edges of the two pubic bones.
What it does
The strongest ligament of the symphysis; it rounds off the top of the pubic arch.
Keeping it well
Mainly a landmark of the pubic arch, relevant in childbirth and pelvic surgery.
