A small ligament joining the horns (cornua) of the sacrum to those of the coccyx at the bottom of the spine.
What it does
Part of the fibrous link between sacrum and coccyx.
Keeping it well
Mainly a landmark: the sacral hiatus beside it is the entry point for caudal epidural injections.
