The middle trunk of the brachial plexus, formed by the C7 root alone, in the lower neck.
What it does
Carries fibres for the triceps, wrist and finger straighteners and part of the median nerve.
Keeping it well
Its C7 root is often pinched by a neck disc, weakening the triceps and numbing the middle finger.
