A middle cerebral branch running up in the central groove that separates the frontal and parietal lobes (rolandic artery).
What it does
Supplies the strips of cortex that move and feel the face, hand and arm.
Keeping it well
Its blockage gives weakness or numbness of the opposite face and arm. Sudden onset is an emergency.
