An early branch of the anterior cerebral artery running forward on the underside of the frontal lobe near the midline (medial orbitofrontal artery).
What it does
Supplies the inner part of the underside of the frontal lobe and the smell tract.
Keeping it well
Can be stretched by tumours above the eye sockets; rarely blocked on its own.
