Medial proper palmar digital artery of middle finger
Arteria digitalis palmaris propria medialis digiti medii · Vnitřní vlastní dlaňová tepna prostředníku
Heart & arteries
Looks like
A thin artery along the palm side of the middle finger, on its ring-finger side.
What it does
One of the two arteries feeding the middle finger to its tip.
Keeping it well
Like all digital arteries it narrows in the cold in Raynaud's; fingers that turn white then blue need a check if it is new or one-sided.
