Coeliac trunk

Looks like

A short, thick artery leaving the front of the aorta just below the diaphragm and splitting into three.

What it does

Supplies the stomach, liver, spleen, pancreas and first part of the duodenum.

Keeping it well

Narrowing from atherosclerosis or compression causes pain after meals and weight loss; blood pressure, cholesterol and not smoking protect it.
