Right middle lobe
Lobus medius pulmonis dextri · Pravý střední lalok
Respiratory system
Looks like
A small wedge at the front of the right lung, between two fissures.
What it does
Ventilates the front of the chest behind the breastbone.
Keeping it well
Its narrow bronchus blocks easily — repeated infections in one spot are the middle-lobe syndrome.
