A triangle of nerve roots on the back wall of the pelvis, gathering into the sciatic nerve.
What it does
Supplies the buttock, back of the thigh, and almost everything below the knee.
Keeping it well
Avoid long pressure on the buttock. Pain down the leg with numbness in the groin is an emergency.
