Angular artery
Arteria angularis · Úhlová tepna
Heart & arteries
Looks like
The end of the facial artery, running up the side of the nose to the inner corner of the eye.
What it does
Supplies the side of the nose and lower eyelid, and links with branches of the ophthalmic artery.
Keeping it well
Filler injected into it by mistake can travel to the eye and cause blindness — a real risk of cosmetic injections near the nose.
