Inferior labial artery
Arteria labialis inferior · Dolní retní tepna
Heart & arteries
Looks like
A facial artery branch running along the lower lip, just under its inner lining.
What it does
Supplies the lower lip and joins its partner from the other side.
Keeping it well
A cut lip bleeds from both ends of it. Firm pressure on both sides of the cut stops it.
