Infra-orbital artery
Arteria infraorbitalis · Podočnicová tepna
Heart & arteries
Looks like
A maxillary branch running forward in the floor of the eye socket and coming out on the cheek just below the eye.
What it does
Supplies the lower eyelid, cheek, upper lip, and the upper front teeth through small branches.
Keeping it well
Fractures of the eye socket floor can injure it with its nerve, leaving the cheek numb.
