Branches of the sphenopalatine artery (end of the maxillary) spreading over the side wall of the back of the nose.
What it does
Supply the nasal turbinates, the side wall of the nose and the sinuses.
Keeping it well
Source of posterior nosebleeds, which run down the throat. One that does not stop after 20 minutes of pressure needs emergency care.
